Manish Jha, MD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, Icahn School of Medicine, Mt. Sinai

Dr. Manish Jha is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience and Assistant Director of the

Depression and Anxiety Center for Discovery and Treatment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount

Sinai, New York, NY. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Center of Depression Research and

Clinical Care at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. Dr. Jha conducts clinical and translational

research aimed at elucidating the biological underpinnings of depression and related disorders that will

inform development of mechanistically-guide novel treatments. He received his Medical degree from

Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his residency training in Psychiatry at

UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. He is a Member of the Society of Biological Psychiatry and

an active member of the scientific community. In addition to his research and educational activities, Dr.

Jha maintains an active clinical practice focusing on evidence-based interventions for treatment

resistant depression.
